Callers may access Word Messaging Devices using one
of several methods:
- Metrocall's "Send-A-Message"
Web page at www.metrocall.com, or
- Any Internet e-mail service can send a message to a Metrocall word
messaging device, using the following addressing scheme: "ten digit
messaging device number@page.metrocall.com".
- If the Metrocall subscriber has operator dispatch service, the Word
Messaging Device can accessed by dialing the messaging device number
directly and dictating a complete message to a live operator at the
national dispatch center, or
- Callers may also conveniently access Word messaging device users with
Metrocall's text messaging software and a Hayes or compatible modem.
